It’s a new year and for many of us that means a new gym membership, hopes for a new and improved body, and an overall healthier lifestyle. Well, “many of us” does not include me! I like to indulge in the finer things in life and by “the finer things in life” I mean delicious treats filled with carbs and calories! If you’re like me or simply looking for one of the best dessert shops in Noho for a well deserved cheat day, I’ve got you covered!
Point me to someone who doesn’t enjoy a cupcake and I’ll show you a person with no soul. With a plethora of options and flavors, there’s a cupcake for everyone’s taste at Georgetown Cupcakes. With daily and monthly specials such as vegan apple cinnamon apple, toffee crunch, cherry blossom, and gluten free chocolate birthday cake, this place will make decision making quite the task! What makes this place extra special is that it was founded by 2 sisters who quit their jobs in other fields to pursue their passion for making delicious treats, which makes indulging in these cupcakes a justified act; you’re supporting a passion project! Located on Mercer Street in Soho, these sweet treats are only a seven minute walk from the our luxury apartment rentals at 298 Mulberry Street. So take my advice, hop into Georgetown Cupcakes, and fulfill your cupcake pleasures with some of the best food in Noho. You can start by trying their January special of Chocolate S’more Chip; you’re welcome!

Now, we’re in New York City, home of hundreds of cafes, bakeries and bodegas, all of which make a simple (yet and still always good) hot chocolate; so you may be thinking, how much better can this hot chocolate be? Well the answer is SO MUCH BETTER! Creamy, decadent and absolutely satisfying to the sweet tooth in all of us; it is an absolute must try! If you’re anything like me and can never have enough chocolate, Jacques Torres has every type of treat you’ve ever dreamed of, all of which pair perfectly with the hot chocolate. If all of the above isn’t enough to convince you to try this hot chocolate, then let convenience be your motivation. Jacques Torres is located directly across the Street from our luxury apartments located on 298 Mulberry Street in Noho. So, throw your coat on over your pajamas and go buy a hot chocolate with a few cookies and enjoy the goodness on the judgement-free comfort of your own couch.

You may be thinking, “Ice Cream? It’s January and it’s (finally) cold out.” Well I urge everyone to stop living their lives with limitations, there’s never a bad time or season to eat ice cream; especially 10Below Ice Cream. This place is not your grandmother’s ice cream shop. 10Below is always a little cooler inside and that’s because it needs to be a certain temperature so they can properly make the ice cream. That’s correct, they make the ice cream right there, out in the open and just for you! You choose from their minimal, yet sufficient, list of flavors, a size, give them your name and wait for it to be called. Once you’re called, the magic happens! One of the ice cream makers calls you over to his/her station and he/she makes your order from scratch. With their creativity and humor, 10below is great for children but won’t fall short for adults! Oh, and as if the ice cream making show wasn’t enough, you get to choose unlimited toppings for no additional charge! 10Below is a bit of a walk, in comparison to Jacques Torres, as it is located in Chinatown. But if you’re feeling bad about your ice cream covered in endless toppings, you can always walk home to 298 Mulberry Street and work off those well-worth-it, calories!
